Spring Day at the Knik Glacier

We took our Bronco out to Knik Glacier with some friends the other day, and it ended up being a great day. Seeing the glacier never gets old to me. It’s awesome. This day was exceptionally beautiful with the blue sky! The kids climbed everything they could. The adults stood around talking, eating, and listening to music. It was one of those really good Alaska days—sun was out, not too cold, you don’t get a lot of days like that. The kind of day that reminds you why you live here. Our friend’s sister flew out on a plane with her boyfriend and landed on the frozen lake, which was so cool. We eventually packed up after some of the guys went through the glacier tunnel. Turns out it’s not as fun as it looks to go through! We eventually headed out the same way we came in. Just a good day with good people in a place that never disappoints.
