I have always had a special place in my heart for printed photos. My mom used to spend time scrapbooking for her children. But she had 7 children, so that was lots of work. At some point I kind of took over my own scrap book and boy did I love looking at the photos. While scrapbooking is cool and all. I really love albums.
As a professional photographer, I strongly believe that everyone should have professional, printed photo albums. Not just because they look beautiful - But because they preserve something priceless: your life, your people and your story.
Imagine if you had family photos taken every year. After a while you wouldn’t have just pictures. You would have a beautiful collection of your life, captured in real time. Showing how you grew, how your family changes, and the little moments you didn’t realize you’d miss. I have clients that do this, and it’s magical, it’s priceless for them.
The real magic of albums is that you get to hold your photo large. You can see the details. On a 2–3-inch phone screen you are missing so much. This becomes a keepsake for you to share with your family and loved ones, and yourself for years to come.
