A Morning Walk With A Seagull

When I was a little girl, I loved going to the beach. My parents took me a few times. But those times were always chaotic. There were 7 of us kids, it’s a miracle that none of us ever went missing! I went once with a bunch of teens to a girls camp. When I married my husband, I lucked out, his family owned a cabin at the beach. A few times we went to Rockaway to stay at the cabin. His grandfather lived there at the time. I really enjoyed spending time with him. He never went with us down to the actual beach, but he would cook us food and tell us stories. The one thing that I always loved to do at the beach was trying to find unbroken sand dollars. Walking along the beach is one of my favorite things to do. I love the wind, the waves, the birds.
